You can, but should you really?

The Process #
Note: sorry about the general low quality of photos throughout this article. I had to use my old phone which has a bad camera because I was taking pictures of my new phone
I got a new phone recently, the brand new Google Pixel 10. It’s a great phone, but I completely forgot to order a case along with it, and with my luck by the time a case arrived I would have dropped it already.
I ordered a case off amazon but the fastest shipping option would not come for a few days. Not wanting to have to wait to use my new phone, I turned to 3D printing as the only alternative I could think of.
After a quick look on MakerWorld, I only found 2 cases for this phone, which makes sense, because it is very new. I decided to go with the more recent of the two, and it seemed to have mostly good reviews (model link)
I decided to print it out. I was dreading that it would take a while to print, but it only took about an hour. I used 0.25MM layer heights and 30% infill on my A1 Mini. It came out well, but when I actually tried to put it on my phone, it was a bit too small.

I decided that this was no big deal and I could just print it another time, but taller! so I did just that. I increased the height by 20% and reprinted it, and after another hour or so of printing, this time it fit perfect!

Is it actually good? #
I’ve been using this case for about 2 days now, and well to be blunt it is not very comfortable. It is good enough for use for a few days, but I would not want to daily drive this for a long period of time. On the style front though, I will say I do think it looks quite nice and would use it as a case if it were comfy.
